Privacy policy
This policy explains what information mblabs.agency collects, why, and how you can control it. It is written to be read, not planted behind fine print.
Who we are
MB LABS (mblabs.agency) is a digital experience studio for boutique interior design companies. The site is operated by the founder of MB LABS. Questions about this policy can be sent to founder@mblabs.agency.
What we collect
Booking and inquiry information. When you request a consultation, book through the Cal.com scheduler on our Contact page, or email us, we receive the information you provide — typically your name, studio, email address, website, location, and message.
Analytics information. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. This processing is strictly consent-based; no analytics cookies are set until you accept them. When enabled, GA4 records usage data including the pages you visit, approximate location (country-level), device type, and referral source. IP addresses are anonymized.
Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps.
Why we use it
We use the information you provide to arrange and conduct consultations, evaluate potential engagements, and reply to your enquiries.
We use analytics, only with your consent, to understand which parts of the site matter, so we can improve the experience for studios like yours. This is factual measurement for a business decision, not tracking for advertising purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary. Your consent choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so the site can respect it. No personal data is sent to us from this.
Analytics (with consent). If you accept analytics consent, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga, _ga_<container>, and _gid (approximately 2 years, 2 years, and 1 day respectively, per Google’s current defaults). These are used to distinguish users and throttle request rates.
Booking (when you use the scheduler). The Cal.com embed uses session storage and cookies within its own product to manage your booking flow. Consult Cal.com’s privacy policy for details.
You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or by clearing your browser data.
Legal basis
Accepted consent is the legal basis for analytics. Contract performance and legitimate interest (replying to enquiries you initiate, arranging bookings) are the basis for contact and booking data.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained for two months, the shortest period GA4 supports. Consultation and enquiry correspondence is retained only while it is relevant to an active or prospective engagement, after which it is deleted unless we are legally required to keep it.
International transfers
Google Analytics data may be processed on infrastructure in the United States and other regions. Google’s Analytics terms incorporate applicable data processing and transfer safeguards. It is a contributor to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent at any time; and ask for your data in a portable form.
To exercise any of these, email founder@mblabs.agency. We will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with the outcome, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Third-party links
This site links to external services including Cal.com. Those services operate under their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or regulations change. Material changes will be noted here and, where required, by asking for fresh consent. The current date of this policy is August 2026.
